Sorry for not updating this blog more often during the past month but all my free time is given by painting ... in fact, following my first attempt I was asked if I could do a few other paintings of this ebony rediscovered 30 years ago .
The exhibition is scheduled for November 11 - in other words that I have little time ... especially when I paint very slowly.
I just finished a portrait of George Benjamin, now aged eighty years. It was he who led the rediscovery of the flower emblem of St. Helena ...
I also finished painting on recycled packing cases some of these flowers ... this is what that gives:
